Celebrating My 65th Trip Around the Sun!
On Sunday, February 15th, 2025, I was thrilled to be celebrating a milestone: My 65th trip around the sun!
Who would have guessed that I would live this long given my adventurous Living-on-the Edge lifestyle?
While I am unable to jump as far as I could 47 years ago, I am nevertheless happier today at 65 than I have ever been. I am fortunate to be now experiencing many things better than ever in my life.
I am grateful to have the many friends I now have.
In short, I am thankful for life. My first 65 years were extraordinarily more joyful and rewarding than I could have ever imagined.
Legend has it that I was born one minute after Valentine's Day. When I was a boy, my wonderful mother would make me a homemade, heart-shaped birthday cake.
Here’s to another 65 years of life, which I fully intend to make even better than the first 65.
In the immortal words of Hunter S. Thompson, "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!'"
